The State provides free Safe Depositories to all residents of the Land of Clones who own real estate, settlements (Hamlet - City) and [http ://www.ageofclones.com/kingdom/index principalities]. Safe Depositories securely store the securities of their owners. To prevent the loss of dividends, it is necessary to have at least 1 Safe Depository for 1 security.

Safe Depositories are provided according to the following rules:

  • 1 level of real estate on the account allows you to get 5 Safe Depositories;
  • 1 unit of the Technological Level of settlements on the account allows you to get 1 Safe Depository;
  • 1 unit of the Technological Level of the principalities on the account allows you to get 1 Safe Depository.

As you can see, quite wealthy citizens who own the corresponding assets (real estate, settlements, principalities) can afford to own a large package of securities.

The number of Safe Depositories a player has is recalculated once a day. If during the day you increased the total level of real estate, settlements or principalities on your account, then new Safe Depositories will be delivered to you immediately before the next dividend accrual (at checkout time).

The player's task is to ensure the safety of the treasury for the current day in accessible ways (by hiring security guards, developing a social policies that does not allow robbing your property and settlements), until the treasury is transported by collectors to a State Bank and credited to the game account. Read more about these features in the relevant help sections: "Real Estate" and "Town Planning". Protecting the treasury of the Principalities is not required at the moment.

What happens if a player has more securities in his account than all his Safe Depositories can hold? For example, we have 957 Safe Depositories, but we have 1000 securities. All dividends from 1000 securities will be summed up, for example, you will get 10 gold coins. The average amount of dividends per 1 security is calculated, regardless of their type: 10 / 1000 = 0.01. But our Safe Depositories only hold 957 securities. This means that the amount of dividends is reduced to 0.01 x 957 = 9.57 gold coins. The rest of the dividends, namely: 10 - 9.57 = 0.43 gold coins, falls on securities that did not fit in the Safe Depositories. This part is lost, and a corresponding entry appears in the Safe Depositories: "Lost dividends on securities today: 0.43 gold coins! You need to increase the number of Safe Depositories!"

Lost dividends on all accounts of all participants are summed up and then sent to the appropriate funds according to analogy with a 44.5% tax on the sale of securities on the Stock Exchange.

Please note! Dividends are NOT paid on those securities that are offered for sale on the Stock Exchange or reserved in "Orders to put the goods for sale". Such securities are on the Stock Exchange, not in Safe Depositories. Dividend accrual will resume as soon as the security is sold or withdrawn from sale (or the order is cancelled).

Examples

Example 1: Calculating the number of Safe Depositories on an account

The player has on his account:

  • 1 Village with technological level = 413 units;
  • 3 castles with a level = 50 units each;
  • 1 principality with technological level = 3500 units.

Thus, the number of Safe Depositories (as well as the number of securities that fit in them) will be equal to:

(413 x 1) + (3 x 50 x 5) + (3500 x 1) = 413 + 750 + 3500 = 4663.

Example 2: Calculation of dividends transferred to the Treasury

The sum of all dividends on the securities of the game account amounted to 10 gold coins per day, the account still has 3 castles, 1 village and a principality (the total number of Safe Depositories in them is 750 + 413 + 3500 = 4663 units).

We believe that the number of Safe Depositories is sufficient and all dividends have been accrued in full.

Then 1 Safe Depository accounts for the amount of dividends: 10 / 4663 = 0.0021 gold coins. They will be distributed as follows:

  • The treasury of each of the castles receives: 5 x 50 x 0.0021 = 0.525 gold coins;
  • The village treasury receives: 413 x 0.0021 = 0.8673 gold coins;
  • The treasury of the principality receives: 3500 x 0.0021 = 7.35 gold coins.

The total amount of dividends sent to the treasury will be: 0.525 x 3 + 0.8673 + 7.35 = 9.7923. We have a current unallocated balance: 10 - 9.7923 = 0.2077 gold coins. This amount will be added to tomorrow's dividend and will participate in the distribution as usual.
